Elizabeth Hurley thinks of Britain's royal family as being part of the showbiz industry.
The 49-year-old beauty - who is currently starring as Queen Helena in 'The Royals', a controversial new US drama about a fictional royal family - claims the family must be incredibly bored with having to feign interest in others, and has likened their roles to other celebrities.
She explained: "I see the royal family as being kind of in show business. I don't know if we bore them senseless when they talk to us.
"All the ones I've met do a phenomenal job of being fabulous to their humble subjects."
Elizabeth said she hopes the royal family get an opportunity to watch her new show, and also revealed herself to be a big fan of Prince Charles.
She told the Daily Star newspaper: "I remember meeting Prince Charles a couple of times. I have to say I'm a huge fan of his."
Meanwhile, the actress revealed recently that she has made a "pathetic start" to being more self-disciplined this month.
Elizabeth took to her Twitter account to reveal she will have to "try harder" after failing miserably in her bid to deny herself some treats at the start of the year following the festive period.
