The former 'EastEnders' actress has taken on a job in North London's The Bill Nicholson pub near Tottenham Hotspur's White Hart Lane, just months after she admitted she was living in sheltered accommodation having running out of money.

A source told The Sun on Sunday: "Danniella has only just started here. You only regularly see her when Spurs are playing at home.

"She's friendly to the punters but it's a fall from grace from what she was in the past. It's a typical lads' football pub."

The star - who is known for previously playing the character of Samantha Mitchell in the BBC One soap - has since taken to Twitter insisting she is only helping out a pal by working at the establishment, but enjoys it because it makes her feel "useful".

She wrote: "I help my mate at her pub @thebillynicn17 it makes me feel useful and I laugh all day x"

However, the 41-year-old actress is currently having a rocky time with her personal life as she accused her on/off boyfriend Tom Richards of violently assaulting her, although he is denying the claims.

He wrote on his Twitter account: "There is no truth that I hit daniella

"I restrained her from hurting herself and getting in trouble, cuz its over dont mean u need 2b cruel (sic)."

However, Danniella responded by saying: "So no sorry no remorse .. He thinks I just let myself take a beating for money! Not every1 is a fame hungry lowlife (sic)."
