Bruce Jenner has delayed production of the documentary focusing on his gender transformation.
The 65-year-old star has reportedly decided to transition into a woman while making a documentary-series about the experience but is now said to have pushed filming back over concerns he's "compromising his family".
While sources have told gossip site TMZ that "there's a 99.9 per cent chance the docu-series will happen", Bruce is said to be unhappy with producers pressuring him to have the show ready by May.
The former Olympian is worried his sons Brody, Brandon and Burt are not currently "in a good place" to see aspects of his new lifestyle unfold.
A source added: "There's no way it will happen in May."
It was originally reported that the series focusing on Bruce's transition would air on E! after the upcoming tenth series of his and his family's reality show 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'.
However, the series' executive producer Jeff Jenkins has since rubbished claims there is to be a separate show about the transformation.
He told the USA Today newspaper: "You will see Bruce on season 10 and beyond that, he is in season 10. He's in all the way to the very end of it. Beyond that there is, to my knowledge, no series in production that, as we said, is its own series."
Meanwhile, Bruce - who is separated from wife Kris Jenner - is reportedly planning to go ahead with an interview scheduled with ABC's Diane Sawyer, in which he is expected to speak about his transition.
