Brett Ratner thinks Mariah Carey is "amazing."

The '#Beautiful' hitmaker, who split from Nick Cannon last summer after six years of marriage, recently sparked rumours she was dating the 'Hercules' producer after they were spotted strolling around St. Barts arm-in-arm, but he insists they are just good friends.
The 46-year-old director said: "We're great friends. I'm directing her video. I've been friends with her for 20 years.
"We're great friends. She's awesome and she's amazing."
But Brett wasn't upset by the speculation and found it very amusing.
He told E! News: "It makes me laugh actually. It cracks me up."
Mariah has collaborated with Brett on several music videos over the past two decades.
The 45-year-old beauty has been spending more time with her estranged husband, with whom she has four-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe, over the past month, fuelling rumours a reconciliation is in the works.
Asked if they are trying to rekindle their relationship, the 'American's Got Talent' judge, 34, also recently admitted: "It's one of those things, I'm a hopeless romantic too. Through this learning process, you never say never.
"To me one thing I know, that will always be the love of my life, always be my family and that's never going to change."
