James Corden once stole 50 bottles of beer from work.
The 36-year-old television personality admitted he nicked some alcohol when he was 17-years-old in a bid to bag an invite to a "cool" party.
He said: "I was 17 at the time, which was really when people started having house parties. So, what I would do to people who were having cool parties to get an invite, I'd go 'Yeah, I can get alcohol. Dude, totally. I steal it from work!'
"And I once tried to steal 50 bottles in a rucksack in two bags and was walking towards the door. I went 'Night everyone, see you!' and my bags are just going clink, clink, clink."
And whilst it didn't go down well with the boss, James was saved from being fired because he was due to work a shift the next day.
He added to GQ magazine: "But because they couldn't find anyone to work the shift the next morning, I kept my job. Didn't get fired. I mean I was a terrible employee."
James certainly won't want to do anything like that to upset the bosses of 'The Late Late Show' - which he starts hosting later this month - as he admitted previously he already suffered a blip with the producers.
He said: "It's so funny. They called the other day and wanted me to cut together a sizzle reel for the show of great moments in my career that they could play to sponsors.
"So we sent it to them. They said, 'It's great but have you got any stuff of you just interviewing someone?' And we were like, 'No! That's our point. It doesn't exist - you're taking a huge risk!'"
