Ashlee Simpson has chosen a "different" name for her baby.

The 30-year-old singer is expecting a little daughter with her husband Evan Ross and, although the couple want to keep the unborn tot's moniker a surprise, they admit she'll be called something extraordinary when she's born later this year.
Speaking on 'The Wendy Williams Show' last night (18.02.15), Evan, 26, said: "We've got a few ideas [on baby names], but we're keeping that for us. No, it's not going to be apple, orange, anything like that ... it's going to be different though."
The couple tied the knot in August last year at the actor's mother Diana Ross' home in Connecticut and Evan insists it was an honour to have Ashlee's six-year-old son Bronx, whom she has with her ex-husband Pete Wentz, at the ceremony with them.
He explained: "He was so excited when we got married. I was like, 'It's just as much your wedding as ours.' "
However, Bronx's excitement about their wedding didn't come as a huge shock to the couple as the youngster has developed a bond with his step-father since he came into his life 19 months ago.
He added: "He's my friend, we became like homies, we're good buddies. It's amazing. I can't even tell you how incredible that child is -- he's unbelievable! He's been a blessing in my life and I've learned so much from him."
