Adam Young, part of the band Owl City, is still waiting on a reply from Taylor Swift after he sent her a romantic ballad as a Valentines day gift.

Taylor teased Adam in her track Enchanted on her 2010 Speak Now album, and even said the song was inspired by their first meeting in New York.

In the CD booklet for the singer even capitalised the letters A-D-A-M in the lyrics.

Adam told how he had been emailing Swift for four months after first meeting her, but was left heartbroken when she started dating Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal.

 He tells Us Weekly, "(I was) a little (heartbroken). I'm not that eloquent, and I may have said something wrong..."Swift ended her romance with Gyllenhaal in December and Young has been trying to win her back, he even sent her a cover of Enchanted.   He says, "I never heard back!"
