Charlie Sheen's hit TV sitcom Two And A Half Men has been cut to twenty two episodes after filming was halted following the actor's admission into rehab.
Shooting on the U.S. comedy was suspended last month (Feb10) when Sheen, who has a history of drug abuse, checked himself into a recovery facility as a "preventative measure".
But the rehab stint has disrupted TV bosses' plans to film a total of 24 episodes and they have now cut the seventh season down to 22 shows, reports TMZ.com.
Sheen's admission into a treatment centre came just weeks after his Christmas Day (25Dec09) arrest in Aspen, Colorado following a bust-up with his wife Brooke Mueller.
The altercation has left Sheen facing a string of felony domestic violence charges, to which he has pleaded not guilty, and he is due to stand trial later this year (10).
The show kicked off in 2003, and has been renewed for a further three series.
