Trevor Donovan was considering giving up on his Hollywood dream after a series of acting flops, but says 90210 saved his career.
The 32-year-old starred in Days of Our Lives in 2007 but found it difficult to land other jobs once he’s left the show.
He debated returning home to help his father renovate the family property, but soon after landed the part of Teddy Montgomery in teen drama 90210.
He tells OK! TV, “it’s been the launching pad for my career. It’s been amazing. I was on my way out to take a break for a while to go home and help my dad build a house.
When speaking of auditioning he said, “It was wearing me out. So I got this at the right time. It’s been incredible.”
