Tracy Morgan met with homeless gay teens in New York on Friday.
The comedian upset activists two weeks ago after making insulting homophobic comments during a stand up routine in Nashville.
The 30 Rock star apologised for the remarks and agreed to meet with youths disowned by upset parents as a way to show gay rights groups that he was truly sorry.
Morgan plans to return to Nashville next week to apologise directly to the fans he offended with his comments.
