Film veteran Tony Curtis is recovering in a Nevada hospital after undergoing a routine ileostomy. The Some Like It Hot star, 82, underwent the procedure - which leave a surgically formed opening in the lower part of the small intestine - at St. Rose Hospital in Henderson last week (ends22Jun07).The actor's lawyer Rachael Ganatta says, "He's doing great. He should be home any day now."Curtis underwent the surgery after delaying it so he could recover from his bout of pneumonia last year (06).The actor spent several days in a coma after contracting pneumonia in December. Curtis born Bernard Schwartz is best known for his comic roles perhaps most famously starring alongst side Marilyn Monroe and Jack Lemmon in the 1959 film Some Like It Hot.The actor has been married six times most famously to Janet Leigh, who is best known for her role in Psycho, they were married for 11 years and have two children Jamie Lee Curtis and Kelly Curtis.
