Thomas Ian Nicholas is a new dad - his wife Colette has given birth to the couple's first child.
The American Pie star's baby boy will be named Nolan River, and Nicholas already has high hopes for his newborn son.
He told People.com: "The first thing that Nolan did when he entered the world was grab one of the doctor’s tools out of his hands. We might just have a future doctor in our midst!"
The 31-year-old actor married the singer and songwriter known as DJ Colette in 2007. Their son weighed in at 7 lbs, 4 oz. and 20 inches long, following 15 hours of labor.
Nicholas played Kevin Myers in the past three major American Pie films and will reprise his role in the upcoming installment of the popular franchise, American Reunion.
