Rapper T.I. has doubled up at the top of the U.S. charts after scoring his third successive number one album.With his Whatever You Like enjoying a fifth week atop the Billboard singles chart, Paper Trail has earned him his biggest sales week on the Hot 100 album chart.T.I. has sold 568,000 copies in the U.S., giving his record label Atlantic it's biggest sales week since chart tracking began in 1991.
And it appears, the rapper will be celebrating again on Thursday (09Oct08) when he breaks his own chart jump record with Rihanna.
The duo's Live Your Life has rocketed up 79 chart spots from 80 to one, according to pre-chart estimates.
Whatever You Like currently holds the record after shooting up the charts from 71 to one at the beginning of September (08).
Back to the new album chart and Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson debuts her self-titled first release at number two, while Robin Thicke scores both his best sales week and highest charting album with Something Else at three.
James Taylor also enters the new countdown high at four with Covers and last week's number one album, Metallica's Death Magnetic, slips to five.
