Creators of South Park Trey Parker and Matt Stone's hit musical The Book of Mormon stole the show at the 2011 Tony Awards on Sunday.

It scooped nine top gongs including Best Musical.

The highly regarded show about two Mormon missionaries sent to Uganda, was nominated for 14 prizes at the New York ceremony, to celebrate the best of the best of Broadway.
