Susan Sarandon is set to play Andy Samberg’s mother in Adam Sandler’s new comedy.
The Thelma and Louise actress will be reuniting with Samberg after previously portraying his mother in two of his digital shorts on the U.S. sketch show Saturday Night Live.
The pair are now to play mother and son in Sandler’s new comedy I Hate You, Dad.
For Sarandon the movie will be a true family affair as her real-life daughter, actress Eva Amurri, will be part of the cast.
Other cast members include Leighton Meester, James Caan and Milo Ventimiglia.
