Funnyman Steve Carrel has urged his Hollywood peers to stop grumbling about the amount of time it takes to apply make-up - because hard-working film fans will never feel sorry for them. The 40-Year-Old Virgin star had to undergo extensive make-up sessions for his new role in Bruce Almighty follow-up Evan Almighty - but he insists fans will never hear him complain. He says, "Roofing at 150 degrees is an ordeal, having someone glue hair to my face for a couple of hours is not."I never want to be one of those actors who say, 'I went crazy because I had to sit still for three hours.' Shut up. You're getting paid a lot of money and you're the lead in a movie."I never want to hear myself complain because it annoys me when I hear other people complain about essentially being in a place that millions of people would envy." Carrel found fame as a presenter on The Daily Show, a news related comedy show. But it wasn't until he moved into movies such as Bruce Almighty and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy that he achieved mainstream sucess. He went on star in the surprise box office hit of 2005 The 40 Year Old Virgin that he became a real household name. Since this success he has gone on to star in the U.S version of The Office where he has won a Golden Globe and a Television Critics Association award in 2006.
