George Lopez's wife Ann is moving forward with plans to make their split official. The wife of funnyman-turned-U.S. TV host filed divorce papers on Tuesday (23Nov10).
The couple, which has been married for 17 years and has a 15-year-old daughter, Mayan, announced it had parted ways earlier this year (10).
And now Ann lopez has lodged legal documents in Los Angeles Superior Court, citing "irreconcilable differences".
She is requesting spousal support, as well as primary custody of Mayan, reports TMZ.
The pair are not thought to have a pre-nuptial agreement in place 
Jennifer Jason Leigh is bidding to become a Single White Female again after filing for divorce.
The actress filed in Los Angeles last week (15Nov10), according to People.com.
She wed moviemaker Noah Baumbach in 2005 and gave birth to the couple's first child Rohmer earlier this year (10).
Citing irreconcilable differences, the star is seeking spousal support and primary custody of her baby son.
