Sir Cliff Richard wowed customers at a local restaurant in Tennessee when he donned an apron to trade places with the chef.
The British singer was enjoying a meal with friends at Gus' Fried Chicken in Memphis when one pal bet Richard £500 he would not be able to cook up a tasty dish.
The hitmaker accpeted the challenge and served nearly 20 customers in just 30 minutes.
Richard's dinner companion and longterm collaborator, Candi Staton says: "I have never seen a white man cook Cajun fried rice and southern potato salad like Cliff. He's obviously got a lot of soul in that rather lean body of his."
Custoners at the eatery were so impressed with the skills of the singer, the owner of the diner offered him a job!
