Actress Shannen Doherty has hit out at Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan - insisting they deserve to get negative press for flashing photographers without wearing underwear.The 37-year-old star was branded a 'bad girl' during her stint on hit teen show Beverly Hills, 90210 during the height of her acting career in the 1990s.But she insists her own outlandish behaviour never matched that of Spears and Lohan - who have been snapped in a series of photographs without their knickers.She says, "You know, you play a character; people perceive you as the character. I guess it means I did my job. But what did I do?! I went out. I was 18 years old! At 18, you're going to sorority parties. I just did it in the public eye."I certainly wasn't showing my crotch. Just because I was on 90210 didn't mean that I didn't get to have my own real life experiences. You have to live somewhat normally."And Doherty says she's already made plans to settle far away from the limelight, where she hopes to start a family.She adds: "I'm just a normal person who likes to play with my dogs and ride my horses. I dream of moving back to the South every single day of my life now. I'm actually looking at places in Mississippi and Tennessee... I definitely want a child. Or two. Not sure on the two."
