Seth MacFarlane, creator of hit cartoon shows Family Guy and American Dad, has signed up to re-vamp The Flintstones. MacFarlane often tells of his love for the prehistoric family and of how Fred Flintstone was one of the first characters her drew as a kid. In a recent statement, he jokes, "I think America is finally ready for an animated sitcom about a fat, stupid guy with a wife who's too good for him." With the huge success of Family Guy and American Dad, The Flintstones is expected to do well. According to CinemaBlend.com, the new Flintstones will hit our screens in 2013.
