Leading aides to U.S. presidential candidate John McCain have attacked the writers of comedy show Saturday Night Live for their "sexist" portrayal of the Senator's running mate Sarah Palin.Comedienne Tina Fey, who has been compared to the Alaskan Governor, mocked Palin during a skit on Saturday's show, making the Republican Vice-President nominee appear a little stupid.Fey also played up to Palin's one-time stint as a beauty queen, making pageant-type poses as fellow comedienne Amy Poehler - as political rival Hillary Clinton - talked about policy and sexism in politics. Most found the skit hilarious, but John McCain's top advisor Carly Fiorina wasn't laughing. She says, "The portrait was very dismissive of the substance of Sarah Palin... I think that continues the line of argument that is disrespectful in the extreme, and, yes, I would say sexist."Fiorina was also upset with the fact Palin was portrayed as a lesser figure than Clinton: "Just because Sarah Palin has different views than Hillary Clinton does not mean that she lacks substance. She has a lot of substance."But even Palin liked the skit. Her spokeswoman says, "She thought it was quite funny, particularly because she once dressed up as Tina Fey for Halloween.
