Ryan Reynolds and wife Scarlett Johansson are not planning to adopt a baby according to a representative for the couple.
Recent reports suggested the Hollywood couple were considering joining the growing numbers of adopting Hollywood parents, but The Proposal star's spokesperson is adamant the rumours are false.
The rep tells GossipCop.com, "There is no truth to it whatsoever."
Adoption features heavily in the couples' extended family - the actress' mother recently took in a baby girl from Ethiopia, while Reynolds' big brother is adopted.
The couple wed in September 2008, after announcing their engagement in May of the same year. Last month the couple had to deny that their marriage was on the rocks.
Adoption is the in thing at the moment with Katherine Heigl adopting a little girl and Sandra Bullock a boy. Alicia Keys is also rumoured to be going down that path.
