Ross Barbour has passed away at the age of 82.
The musician died at his California home on Saturday after battling with lung cancer.
Barbour was the last surviving member of the Grammy Award-winning group the Four Freshmen, who scored hits with songs like Graduation Day, It Happened Once Before and Mood Indigo.
The drummer retired from the group in 1977 and later chronicled his career with the quartet in the 1995 novel Now You Know: The Story of the Four Freshmen.
Barbour is survived by his wife Nancy Sue, and three children, Kent, Gary and Kathy Feese.
