Newly-single actress Reese Witherspoon is thrilled she has become a style icon since separating from husband Ryan Phillippe last year (06).The Legally Blonde star says her dramatic debut at the Golden Globe Awards in January (07), in a sleek yellow dress and new hairstyle, was a chic-coming out party.She tells American Harper's Bazaar magazine, "I felt like I looked different than I've ever looked."Witherspoon has two young children - Ava, seven, and Deacon, three - and has been criticised for making matronly fashion choices in the past.She credits Nina Ricci designer Olivier Theyskens for masterminding her transformation, adding, "I've used a stylist before, but these days I'm kind of just going with Olivier's taste."
