Radiohead labeled master recordings with the names of artists they thought nobody would want to listen to, because they were so determined to keep new album, ‘In Rainbows, from leaking online. Despite releasing In Rainbows as an internet download allowing customers to choose their own price in October (07), the British band decided the best way to cover their tracks was to pretend their new work was by Phil Collins or Kula Shaker.Bassist Colin Greenwood explains, "It felt like a gigantic risk. Like Mission: Impossible, almost. "We destroyed all CDs after every day of recording. And on the master we'd always write a name which probably nobody would listen to if we had lost it - Eagles: Greatest Hits, Kula Shaker Demos, Phil Collins Hip-hop Covers."
