Pete Wentz's new show is rumoured to be TRL's replacement
MTV's flagship show, Total Request Live has been axed after ten years.The show debuted in September 1998 with Carson Daley as host and was focus of MTV's US schedule. It's combination of daily music video countdowns and celebrity appearances was a winning formula and at it's peak the show was the first destination for pop acts including Britney Spears and N'Sync.After Daley's decision to quit and concentrate on his talkshow in 2003 ratings dropped. Last year the show was cut from five to four episodes a week as ratings fell to 400, 000.The show will finish with a two hour special in November.New show Feedback New MTV, hosted by Pete Wentz, is being tipped as the show's replacement.Tagged in Pete Wentz
