Patrick Swayze's friends and family said goodbye to the actor at a private memorial service in Los Angeles.
The funeral took place at Sony studios, where hundreds of guests gathered to listen to tributes, delivered by friends including his wife Lisa Niemi and Ghost co-star Whoopi Goldberg.
A lone white horse belonging to the late actor greeted attendees, with Swayze's boots facing backwards in the stirrups - a horseman's tradition.
Swayze lost his battle with pancreatic cancer last month (Sep09) at the age of 57.
The popular actor was was cremated a fortnight ago and it is believed that his ashes will be scattered at his New Mexico ranch.
Swayze battled with pancreatic cancer for two years but during this time refused to give up work as he continued to film TV show The Beast.
