Oprah Winfrey receives honorary degree
Oprah Winfrey has recieved an honorary doctorate degree in education from a University in Africa.
The chatshow queen donned on the cap and gown for the ceremony, jetted to South Africa to accept the accolade at the University of the Free State.
Addressing nearly 4,000 audience members, she said: "What has happened here at Free State in terms of racial reconciliation, of peace, of harmony, of one heart understanding and opening itself to another heart is nothing short of a miracle.
"It is truly what the new South Africa is all about."
In 2007 she opened an all-girls school in school in South Africa. Winfrey is an education saviour.
