Angry Neighbours Veto Richie & Madden's Dream Home....

Pregnant Nicole Richie and her fiance Joel Madden have been denied their dream home - because locals are concerned about the constant presence of photographers.The couple made an offer on a house in a gated community in southern California, but were turned down because of the unwanted attention their celebrity status would bring.And Richie - who is expecting her first baby early next year (08) - is reportedly furious at their decision.A source tells U.S. Weekly, "Nicole was livid because she loved the house.She thinks it's a BS (bullshit) reason, but she couldn't fight it."Meanwhile Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden is excited about impending fatherhood because it will have a positive impact on his music.The 28-year-old rocker is expecting his first child with fiancee Nicole Richie and insists the baby will help improve his songwriting.He says, "I'm sure it will inspire me. Yeah, I'm sure it will."

Madden's comments come as Richie, 26, is currently planning a baby shower for the end of November (07).
