Naomi Campbell has rounded up her famous pals for a charity catwalk show to raise funds for Japan during the Cannes Film Festival in France next week (begs16May11).
The British beauty has been busy organising the event to benefit the survivors of March's (11) earthquake and tsunami, which devastated the country's east coast.
Campbell wanted the show to be a follow-up to the Fashion For Relief fundraiser she staged in the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake in 2010, revealing last month (Apr11), "It's not 100 per cent confirmed but we are in talks right now and hopefully... we should know if we're doing a Fashion For Relief for Japan.
"Not in Japan, hopefully in Cannes."
Campbell's determination to stage the event has paid off - it has been scheduled for Monday (16May11) in the French city, according to Britain's Daily Mirror.
The model says, "I hope the money will support those who need it most."
