Ron Perlman has his 'facts wrong' about being banned for life from the Hilton Hotel in Shreveport, Louisiana according to a spokesman for the hotel.
The actor opened up about the controversy during a press conference promoting his new film Season of the Witch on Thursday (06Jan11), but refused to go into detail.
He told WENN, "I got thrown out for life, so I ended up staying in a casino hotel.
"The reason I got thrown out was so unsexy. It’s not like I’m Kurt Cobain or Mick Jagger or Keith Richards getting thrown out of a hotel.
"So I won’t go into the details. I like to just leave it as I’m not even allowed to go back to the Hilton in Shreveport."
But a spokesman for the hotel insists Perlman has his facts wrong: "We do a lot of movie business.
"We might not have had room for Mr. Perlman but I don't recall anyone banning him for life."
Perlman was shooting scenes for Season of the Witch with Nicolas Cage when the mystery incident happened.
