Kid Rock Loses Court Battle
Rock star Kid Rock has been ordered to pay out $35,000 (GBP21,875) to three men he fought with outside a Los Angeles hotel in 2006 .
The men filed suit against the All Summer Long hitmaker last year (09) and initially demanded he pay them $15 million (GBP9.4 million).
They claimed Rock, real name Robert Ritchie, and three members of rap group Boo-Yaa Tribe assaulted them.
In Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday (12Mar10), a jury sided with the plaintiffs and ordered Rock to pay up, according to TMZ.com.
The Clash Stars To Tour With Gorillaz?
Two members of British punk icons The Clash are set to hit the stage together for the first time since 1983 if reports linking them to an upcoming Gorillaz tour are to be believed.
Mick Jones and Paul Simonon both feature on the band's new album Plastic Beach, and Spinner.com reports the pair has accepted an invitation from group leader Damon Albarn to tour.
Simonon and former Blur star Albarn have toured together before as members of The Good, The Bad & The Queen.
Jacki-O To Release Second Book
Female rapper Jacki-O is set to expand her literary portfolio - she will chronicle her rise to fame and charity work with the release of her first autobiography.
The hip-hop star's upcoming memoir, Relentless, will focus on her years as an aspiring rapper growing up in Miami, Florida.
It will also detail her current charity work with people with disabilities as an ambassador for non-profit group, Community Options.
A release date had not been issued as FemaleFirst went to press.
Jacki-O's first release, a fictional book called Grown & Gangsta, hit shelves in 2008.
