British singer Morrissey has cancelled a further three U.S. shows as he recovers from a throat infection. The former The Smiths star called off a show in Baltimore on Tuesday (03Jul07), and has also pulled out of shows on Thursday and Friday (05&06Jul07) in Atlantic City and Holmdel, New Jersey respectively.Morrissey's medical woes began last week (26Jun07) when he croaked through seven songs in front of 5,000 fans in Boston, Massachusetts before giving up, apologising and ending his show early.All dates will be rescheduled, according to the singer's spokesperson.After The Smiths split in the mid eighties Morissey pursued a solo career releasing his debut solo album Viva Hate in 1988, it reached number one on its release.A second album Kill Uncle followed and then a third Your Arsenal in 1992.Since early 2000's Morissey has seen a resurgance in his career after signing a new deal with Sanctuary Record group on the Attack Records label.

He released a new album You are The Quarry to strong reviews and the first single Irish Blood, English Heart reached number three in the UK charts.
