Michael J. Fox surprised fans at a Parkinson's Disease event on Saturday (21Nov09) by performing alongside rockers Steven Tyler, Roger Daltrey and Elvis Costello.
The musicians rocked with the Back to the Future star, who suffers from the disease, at New York's Waldorf Astoria Hotel for the A Funny Thing Happened on the Way To Cure Parkinson's benefit gig.
Rescue Me star Denis Leary hosted the concert, while Fox's actress wife Tracy Pollan told guests how important it is to raise funds to find a cure for Parkinson's.
They were joined by a number of A-list guests who turned out to support the fundraiser - Scarlett Johansson and husband Ryan Reynolds, Martin Scorsese and Ben Stiller were all in the audience.
Fox was diagnosed with the disease in 1991.
Despite suffering with the disease Fox has continued to work, mainly in TV, with the likes of Scrubs, Boston Legal and Rescue Me in recent years.
