Michael Douglas has given his support to the grieving family of Casey Johnson.
The veteran actor has claimed that he’s a distant relative of the family, and has said that he will be there to help both of Casey’s parents, Robert ‘Woody’ Johnson and ex-wife Nancy, also known as Sale through this hard time.
He told entertainment website ETonline, "It's a terrible, terrible tragedy. Woody is a distant relative, a dear, dear friend of mine. My heart goes out to him and ex-wife Sale, Casey's mom.
“It's the worst thing that could happen to anyone, losing a child.
"I've talked briefly (with them). They're grieving, as one would expect, and there's nothing really you can do. I think it just takes a lot of time. It's a tragedy."
Johnson, who died on January 4th of as yet unknown causes (although foul play has been ruled out), was only 30 years old and leaves behind her adopted three year old daughter.
