Michael Cera has split with his longterm singer/actress girlfriend Charlyne Yi, according to reports.
The pair has been together for three years, but sources claim Cera's head has been turned by the attention of other ladies since his career kicked off, thanks to roles in Juno, Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist and Year One - and he wants to date around.
A friend tells Star magazine, "He's been with her since before he was superfamous, and now all these girls fawn over him. He's itching to date other people."
Yi is said to be heartbroken and the break-up comes just as the pair begin a promotional tour for their new movie, mockumentary Paper Heart.
The source adds, "Charlyne is beyond sad. And the break-up is so much harder because she'll have to see him on tour."
It was his role in Juno that really launched the young actor's career back in 2007. Since then he has built up a comedy career appering in the likes of Year One to the extent that he is currently the hottest new talent in the genre.
And the next year or so is set to be busy for him with Youth in Revolt, Scott Pilgrim vs the World and Arrested Development all in the pipeline.
