A lawsuit filed against Michael Bay over allegations his bodyguard beat up two men has been dismissed.
Joshua Stewart and Paul Klimczak filed suit against Bay earlier this year (10), claiming a security guard employed by the star pistol-whipped them outside a Hollywood nightclub in 2008.
The moviemaker's lawyer blasted the allegations, insisting Bay had never employed a personal bodyguard and wasn't even at the club at the time of the incident.
Now, the case against Bay has been dismissed, according to TMZ.com - and Stewart and Klimczak have written a personal letter to the star apologising for filing the suit.
The note reads, "(We) sincerely apologize to Michael Bay for his inclusion as a defendant in the lawsuit... he had nothing to do with the alleged incident."
Bay is currently on location filming the third Transformers movie.
