Max Bygraves is in mourning today after the death of his wife for 69 years, Blossom Murray.
The British singer is “devastated” after Blossom, who was 88, passed away in Queensland, Australia whilst staying at a care home.
Blossom has been battling a long term chest illness, and the couples move from Britain to Australia was in the hope that the warmer weather would help her medical condition.
Bygraves was a popular singer and movie star in Britain in the 1950s and 1960s, and was once invited by Judy Garland to perform with her in New York.
He later moved into light entertainment and TV work before retiring from showbiz.
