Matt Lucas has been hospitalised with a 'nasty' ear infection.
The Little Britain star, who also appeared in Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland movie, revealed his health issues on Twitter yesterday, admitting the ailment is 'very painful'.
He also adds: "Admitted to hospital for a few days for a nasty infection in both ears. Morphine & IV(intravenous)-antibiotics. I'm all woozy..."
This explains why he wasn't pictured at the finishing line when close friend David Walliams completed his swim up the River Thames.
Walliams made a staggering £1.1 million for the charity Sport Relief.
