U.S. lifestyle guru Martha Stewart is "feeling fine" after undergoing hip surgery. Stewart had surgery on her left hip earlier last week (19Jun07) after the two hour operation was reportedly put off for more than a year.The 65-year-old's spokesperson says the star is "feeling fine" after the procedure, reports The New York Daily News Stewart set up a caterin business in 1976 which became very successful very quickly. She was a sked by Crown Publishing Group to develop a cookbook. Entertaining became a New York best seller and the bst selling cookbook since Mastering the Art of French Cooking released 20 years earlier.After this success she released several more books and developed a magazine entitled Martha Stewart Living which peaked at 2 million.In 1993 she expanded into radio adnd was a frequent contributor to CBS's The Early Show.However in 2002 charges of lying to investigators and obstruction of justice were brought against her over the selling of her ImClone, a pharmaceutical company, shares.

She was found guilty and served and five month prison term.
