Martha Stewart recovering after accidental attack from bulldog
US lifestyle queen Martha Stewart is recovering after having a set to with one of her dogs.
The star needed nine stiches to close up a wound on her lip after she accidentl headbutted her French bulldog, Francesca.
She was leabing her home on Tuesday when it happened and her driver took her to a hospital nearby. She was then treated by plastic surgeon Dr. William Nolan.
While blogging about the accident, Stewart wrote: "I must have startled her, because she bolted upright with such force that she hit me in the face like a boxing glove hitting an opponent's face.
I was entirely startled and my neck snapped back. I felt a bit of whiplash as blood gushed forth from my split lip."
Stweart asked her assistant to take some photos of the split lip and she has posted them online.
She closed the blog post by thanking the medics who helped stich her up.
"Thanks to the hospital staff for their prompt and professional attention and of course, thank you, Dr. Nolan!"
