Marg Helgenberger, star of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, has admitted Justin Bieber's childish behaviour was less than impressive by saying that he was "kind of a brat".

Bieber, 17, was signed on to star as troubled teen Jason McCann back in 2010 and even though the producers were impressed with his acting skills, Helgenberger was not won over by Bieber's cheeky antics off screen.

Speaking on a French radio show on Friday, Helgenberger said "He never acted before. I mean, I shouldn't be saying this but he was kind of a brat."

Helgenberger only had one scene with the the Baby hitmaker and although he was said to be very nice to her, she said "he locked one of the producers in the closet" and continued his childish antics by putting his fist through a cake that was on the cafeteria table.

After signing the teen star up for a second episode, the producers then killed Bieber's character off in the episode earlier this year.
