Mackenzie Phillips is determined to clean up her home in 2012 - and she has called in TV cameras to help motivate her big clear-out.
The actress admits she let her possessions build up as she spent years battling substance abuse and now she has signed up to star on U.S. show Extreme Clutter - which will air on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network - in an effort to get to grips with her hoarding.
Phillips released a tell-all memoir, High on Arrival, in 2009 and followed that up with an appearance on TV show Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, and now she's returning to reality TV in a bid to clean up another area of her life.
She tells celebrity counsellor Dr. Drew Pinsky, "I had been through so much and the book came out and I was in rehab, then I was in rehab with you, and things piled up...
"My garage was just filled with so much stuff, and my bedroom - it was like I was living the life of an addict without the substance."
