Liza Minnelli holds yard sale for fans
Liza Minnelli has had a yard sale in New York to offload some of her personal possessions to excited fans.
The singer/actress cleared her house in Lake Tahoe and decided the best way to get rid was by hosting a sale in the house of NBC producer Angela LaGreca in the Hamptons, New York.
A notice was put in the local paper saying 'truckload of celebrity-ownded items,' and 'Don't bother coming early, entertainers sleep in.'
The sale was on Saturday and included furniture, glassware, clothing and jewellry as well as a set of epaulets given to her by the late great Michael Jackson.
According to the New York Post Liza was even there to greet buyers and to sign things as they were sold.
