Lohans Lohan Morgue Punishment....

Lindsay Lohan is set to spend time in a morgue as part of her community service - in a bid to show the consequences of driving under the influence. The Mean Girls star, 21, was arrested twice last year (May07&Jul07) on charges of Dui, and was sentenced to serve four days behind bars in August (07).She served just over 80 minutes in Lynwood jail in California in November (07), after a judge reduced the sentence and ordered her to carry out 10 days of community service - which she began in late last year (07) with the American Red Cross. Her attorney, Blair Berk, told a judge on Thursday (17Jan08) at a progress hearing Lohan will spend two four-hour days at a morgue, and will spend a further two days in a hospital emergency room.Lohan was not present at the hearing.Meanwhile in other news Lohan is a step closer to having video cameras banned from court when she gives a deposition testimony in her car-crash lawsuit. The actress is being sued by victim Raymundo Ortega for crashing her Mercedes-Benz into his red van in Hollywood in October 2005, after allegedly drinking at celebrity hotspot The Ivy.And Lohan's attorneys have been attempting to have plans for the star to give evidence on videotape scrapped, amid fears the footage could later be sold on for a large amount of cash.

In November Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Stern dismissed their argument and ruled Lohan must give video evidence.

But now a three-judge panel of California's Second District Court of Appeal has demanded Stern explain his decision.

A hearing has been set for 16 March (08) to determine whether cameras will be allowed or not.

The 21-year-old has filed her own countersuit against Ortega, alleging he and a number of unspecified defendants caused the accident.

A trial date of 07 April (08) has been set for both cases.
