Liev Schreiber loves his role as a father - and credits his kids with keeping him young.
The Defiance star and actress partner Naomi Watts have two sons, Sasha, who has just turned two, and seven month old Samuel.
And despite approaching his 42nd birthday later this year (Oct09), Schreiber is feeling younger than ever - thanks to his young boys.
He tells People.com, "I feel much older. I'm older physically, but spiritually much younger."
Schreiber and Watts got together in 2005, going on to work together on the Painted Veil back in 2006.
Despite becoming engaged neither of them want to rush into marriage. Watts gave birth to the couple's first child Alexander in July 2007 and their second son Samaul in December 2008.
2009 has been a busy year for the actor with the release of Defiance and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, with the release of Taking Woodstock still to come.
He will also star in Salt alongside Angelina Jolie next year.
