Lady Gaga has shrugged off assumptions she's been living a life of luxury since shooting to fame - insisting she has very few personal possessions.
The Poker Face hitmaker has been music's biggest success story of the last year, selling a staggering 10 million copies of her debut album The Fame since its release in late 2008.
But the singer is adamant she's not been spending her hard-earned cash on material things.
She tells Britain's Now magazine, "A glamorous life is different to a life of luxury. I don't need luxury. For years I was practically broke, but I was still very vain and glamorous. And I still am.
"I can't even drive a car. I don't have a driver's license. I have a rented apartment in New York. That's it. When I travel, I have almost all of my possessions with me. That's how little I own."
Meanwhile Beyonce And Lady Gaga's nine-minute video for their Telephone single has become an overnight internet sensation.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker included Gaga on her Video Phone track last year (09) and she has returned by the favour by singing on the Poker Face singer's latest offering.
The video for the pair's second duet debuted online on Thursday (11Mar10), and has caused controversy with scenes of nudity, swearing, a lesbian kiss and murder.
But the short film, which is nearly 10 minutes long, has already proved popular - it was viewed 500,000 times on the web in the 12 hours after its release.
