Kurt Russell is overjoyed at the prospect of becoming a 'grandfather' again when Kate Hudson gives birth - and he's secretly hoping the baby is a girl.
The actress and Muse rocker Matt Bellamy, who have been dating since last spring (10), are expecting their first child together later this year (11) - and Russell, the longterm partner of Hudson's mother Goldie Hawn, can't wait for a new addition to the family.
He tells People.com, "It's fun having babies once again. We just really like that. And it's fun to watch them grow.
"It's fun to see what they're grasping. I think secretly we're all hoping for a girl."
The 59 year old also admits he gets on well with Bellamy, adding, "He's really fun.
"We all enjoy him. We understand what Katie sees in the guy. He's a great guy."
But Russell insists there are no wedding bells on the horizon.
Hudson already has a son, Ryder, from her relationship with ex-husband Chris Robinson.
