Spider-Man actress Kirsten Dunst was left upset and exasperated as she testified at the trial of a man accused of stealing her handbag, saying she felt nothing more than a 'stupid actress'.
But then I had to go to court, where I was made to look like a stupid actress.
James Jimenez was accused of raiding the the star's suite at the SoHo Grand Hotel, New York in 2007 as Dunst was filming How to Lose Friends and Alienate People with Simon Pegg and Megan Fox.
Jimenez was found guilty of trepassing last year and returned to court in summer earlier this year to face a retrial for the burglary charge.
The actress testified and the man was found guilty and sentenced to four years in prison.
A distraught Dunst faced further upset when the defence quizzed the actress about the stash of marijuana found in her assistant, Liat Baruch's bag during the raid.
She said she found the experience very 'extreme' and told BlackBook magazine, "It became such a spectacle. It should have been so simple - put the guys who jacked (stole) our stuff in jail.
