Kevin Bacon took to Twitter to thank fans for their support
Kevin Bacon is nursing his dog back to health after the poorly pooch underwent surgery on his leg.
The Footloose star took his pet Paulie to a veterinarian's office for an operation after the dog injured one of its hind legs.
Bacon kept fans updated on the animal's progress by uploading photos to his Twitter page and later thanked them for their well wishes.
He tweets: "My Man Paulie (is) home from the hospital... Thanks to everyone for your sweet concern for my man Paulie. He's bright eyed and bushy tailed as u can see after a successful operation."
